Toastmasters Club

The Spotlight is on YOU!

Welcome to the Excelsior Club 699, a Select Distinguished Club in District 5, Region 10, chartered February 1, 1979.

We meet the first Tuesday evening of the month at 6pm at the El Fandango Restaurant in Old Town San Diego, California.

We offer our members the opportunity to develop and improve their public speaking skills through our meetings and participating in speech contests.

Members have the opportunity to give much longer speeches than the traditional 5-7 minute manual speech. This has proven helpful for those who are developing keynotes and speeches for special occasions.

Our unique Two-Part Evaluation Process allows each speaker to get the maximum amount of constructive feedback for improving the presentation.

All Excelsior members are Advanced Communicator Bronze (ACB) or higher. Toastmasters who join our club benefit from the experience of our All-Star cast which includes a Past International President, Past International Directors, Past District Governors, Distinguished Toastmasters and Past Regional and World Championship of Public Speaking finalists.

If you are interested in accelerating your speaking and leadership career you must come and visit Excelsior 699. You will find your stay well spent and extremely rewarding.

Don't spend another year thinking about how you can improve your speaking. Instead, spend your time with a club that's doing just that. Our door is always open.

You wouldn't have read this far if you didn't have what it takes. See you at our next meeting.
